Insurance Coverage Attorney

Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation/Coverage Attorney to join their Seattle-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise insurer clients on insurance coverage matters involving complex factual and legal issues
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage positions, and exclusions
• Represent insurers in coverage-related litigation at the trial and appellate levels
• Participate in and manage matters resolved through mediation, arbitration, and other ADR forums
• Draft pleadings, motions, coverage opinions, and related legal memoranda
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation and resolution strategies

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the State of Washington
• Experience supporting insurer clients in coverage analysis, litigation, and ADR
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively within a team environment
